Publishing Research Data in Open Access RepositoriesTwo lectures presented at the GfÖ & NFDI4Biodiversity Winter School on Data Management in Ecology and Environmental Science December 5-9, 2022. These lectures provide researchers with a hands-on guide for publishing their research data at open-access repositories. In particular the content addresses: 1) Why is it important to share and publish research data? 2) Where to publish research data? 3) How to prepare research data for publication 4) How to publish and cite research data. Two more files contain the output of two practice sessions, which gathered general information about five popular data repositories and how they present data publications. A data curation checklist compiled as Jupyter notebook for Python users, can be found at the PANGAEA GitHub repository.
